Chowderfest
This Sunday was the 21st annual chowderfest in LBI.
We got there early, when it was baaarely crowded. We had VIP tickets because we’re VIP.
We started with the white.
How does it taste, guys?
We can’t decide. You try.
Ick! Not as good as Country Kettle.
All the chowders are under tents in booths with great displays.
We liked this one the best. Then it was time for reds!!
Side note: Never, ever, ever wear flats or nice shoes to any event like this. Ever.
We also drank beer at 10:00 a.m.
Then it was time to vote.
And the reds!
We left by noon; the people in the booths had 4 1/2 more hours to go.
So, so fun.
Can’t wait til next year.
