Lobster, anyone?

Oh darn. Lobster? Mom you’re the WORST!

A tomato avocado salad? Jersey corn? Carrots and red potatoes on the grill with onions?

WAHHHH. STOP IT.

Grilled Lobstah Tails

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • chopped garlic to taste (about a clove)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • green onions, about 1/2 teaspoon

Dad’s patented lobster grilling method: After heating the grill and preparing the sauce (melt butter and stir in the lemon peel, green onion, and garlic), cut along the edges of the lobster tail membrane (both sides) and pull it out of the shell completely. Put the tail back into the shell. Butter both sides with the special sauce. Grill the lobster shell side down on a grill pan, 3-4 minutes per side, for about 15 minutes, brushing on the butter each time. Pull it out of the shell again to make sure it’s done. Serve to people who think it tastes so good they could cry.

    I am soooo jealous, that looks delicious! It also looks like you’re having fun on your trip too, be sure to rest, relax, take it easy, and drink lots of booze!
